We are looking for an experienced general builder to join our team across residential projects in Oxford and Oxfordshire. This is a role for someone who takes pride in being useful, works well within a tight-knit team and wants to be part of a company that operates the way construction should.

What You Will Be Working On

Our projects are high-end residential — new builds, extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and structural alterations across Oxfordshire. As a general builder, you will be involved across multiple stages of the build, including:

• Groundworks, blockwork, brickwork and general structural tasks
• Assisting with and carrying out a range of construction activities as the build progresses
• Working alongside carpenters, foremen and other trades to keep delivery on track
• Following construction drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised site at all times
• Adapting to the needs of each project — no two builds are the same and we value people who thrive on variety

Every site you work on will be properly planned, resourced and coordinated before you arrive. Clear direction, realistic timelines and none of the chaos that comes with poorly run operations.

What We Expect

We hold ourselves to a high standard at Lynch Brother Homes and we look for people who match it. The right candidate will bring:

• Solid experience in residential construction with a broad range of practical skills
• The ability to work across multiple trades and stages of a build
• A strong work ethic, reliability and excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills — our sites run on clear, open dialogue between trades
• The ability to read and follow construction drawings and site plans
• A valid UK driving licence and own transport preferred
• A genuine pride in doing things properly and a willingness to be part of a team that expects the same
